The Simple Renard 8 is a low cost 8 channel controller designed to drive either AC SSRs or DC SSRs which switch their loads close to the item being controlled.

- Onboard ICSP headers for programming PIC's without having to remove the device

- Onboard regulated power supply
- Can also connect DC SSRs for larger output loads
- The Simple Renard 32 board can be daisy chained with other Renard boards including most of the DIYC boards using standard RS485 RJ45 connections
- Can be controlled using software such as Vixen
| Firmware |
The Simple Renard 8 makes use of a different PIC then the usual PIC found in most Renard devices and as a result does not use the default Renard firmware. You must make use of the special firmware listed below to program your Simple Renard 8. The Simple Renard 8 firmware runs Renard protocol and is setup with start addressing to run with dirknerkle’s RenW wireless boards.
